The Experimental Economics Laboratory Salerno is pleased to announce its inaugural workshop, From the Lab to Society: Experiments, Behaviour and Strategic Interaction, to be held at the University of Salerno on 12 and 13 November 2026.

We welcome submissions from all areas of experimental and behavioural economics, decision theory and game theory. The workshop aims to connect theoretical insights, experimental evidence and real-world applications.

Theoretical, empirical and experimental contributions are welcome on topics including, but not limited to:

AI, human behaviour and learning

Individual and collective decision-making

Strategic interaction and game-theoretic models of cooperation, trust and competition

Bounded rationality and behavioural biases

Laboratory, field, online and classroom experiments, and advances in experimental methods

The workshop will include invited lectures and contributed presentations.

We particularly encourage submissions from PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and early-career scholars. Work in progress is welcome, especially research that can stimulate debate, discussion and constructive feedback.

Authors are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 500 words, written in English.

Submissions should include:

• the title of the contribution;
• the names and affiliations of all authors;
• the name of the presenting author;
• three to five keywords;
• a brief description of the research question, methodology and main findings, where available, or expected contribution.

Work in progress may be submitted without final results. In such cases, the abstract should clearly explain the research idea, the proposed approach and the questions the authors would like to discuss.

Abstracts must be submitted through the online submission form available on the workshop webpage.

Authors will be asked to provide the required information and upload their abstract as a single PDF file.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 16 OCTOBER 2026

Each participant may present no more than one contribution, although they may be listed as a co-author on additional submissions.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.

The working language of the workshop will be English.
